The Valorant Night Market is a personal, time-limited discount store that surfaces a few times a year and offers you six randomly selected skins at a reduced price. It is the cheapest legitimate way to pick up premium Valorant skins — but the picks and the discounts are both out of your hands, so it pays to know how it really works before you spend.

What the Night Market is

Outside the regular rotating store and the Featured bundle, Riot occasionally opens a Night Market: a private storefront unique to your account. Instead of full-price daily offers, it presents six face-down cards. You flip each one to reveal a skin and the personal discount attached to it. Everything is bought with Valorant Points (VP), the same paid currency as the normal store.

How the six cards work

When the Night Market is live, a banner replaces your usual store tab. The six cards start hidden; flipping one is permanent for that window — you cannot reshuffle to chase a better deal. Once revealed:

  • each card shows one weapon skin and its discounted VP price;
  • the discount is fixed for the whole Night Market period;
  • anything you don't buy simply disappears when the market closes.

There is no "reroll." What you flip is what you get, so treat each card as a yes/no decision rather than a gamble you can repeat.

How big are the discounts?

Discounts vary card to card and account to account. In practice most land somewhere between roughly 10% and 50% off, with the occasional standout closer to the top of that range. Because the amount is random, two players can see the same skin at very different prices — that's normal and not a bug.

How your skins are chosen

The pool is drawn from skins you do not already own, and it leans toward the lower and mid tiers (the Select, Deluxe and Premium ranges) far more than the top end. The most premium lines — Exclusive-tier sets and most limited, event or Champions skins — are generally kept out. So the Night Market is great for filling gaps in your collection, not for snagging a flagship knife or a sold-out battle pass skin.

When does it return?

The Night Market is not on a fixed calendar. Riot opens it periodically — historically around once per episode, often near the end of an act — and announces it in patch notes and in-client banners a little ahead of time. The safest assumption is "a few times a year, unannounced until it's close." If you're waiting on it, watch the official patch notes rather than third-party countdowns.

Is it worth using?

It's worth it when a card reveals a skin you genuinely wanted anyway — you simply pay less than you would have in the normal store. It is not worth buying a skin just because it's discounted; a 40%-off skin you'll never equip is still wasted money. Decide which skins you actually want first, then let the Night Market be a discount on that shortlist.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the next Valorant Night Market?

There's no fixed date. It appears a handful of times per year and is announced shortly beforehand in the official patch notes and the in-game banner. Treat any specific "date" from an unofficial source as a guess.

Can you choose which skins appear?

No. The six skins and their discounts are randomly generated for your account from skins you don't own. You can choose what to buy, but not what shows up.

Are exclusive or limited skins in the Night Market?

Almost never. Exclusive-tier skins and most limited, event and Champions bundles are excluded. Expect Select, Deluxe and Premium skins.

Does the Night Market come back every act?

Roughly that often, but it isn't guaranteed every act. Some gaps are longer. Rely on the patch notes for confirmation.
