There's no single "max" price, because Valorant has hundreds of skins and some can't be bought anymore. But the math is easy to do yourself: a Premium skin costs 1,775 VP per gun, a Premium melee 3,550 VP, and a full Premium bundle 7,100 VP. At US store prices (1,000 VP for $9.99, 11,000 VP for $99.99), a strong everyday loadout comes to roughly $145–$160, while collecting whole bundles runs into hundreds or thousands of dollars. A literal 100% collection is impossible, because past Champions bundles aren't sold anymore. Here's how the numbers break down.

First, understand VP pricing

Everything is bought with Valorant Points (VP), and VP gets slightly cheaper per point in bigger packs. In the US store in September 2026, 1,000 VP cost $9.99, 5,350 VP cost $49.99 and 11,000 VP cost $99.99. That works out to roughly $9 to $10 per 1,000 VP. Skin prices then depend on the edition:

EditionPrice per gun skinTypical bundle price
Select875 VP2,930–3,500 VP
Deluxe1,275 VP4,270–5,100 VP
Premium1,775 VP7,100 VP
Exclusive2,175 VP8,700–10,700 VP
Ultra2,475 VP9,900 VP

Melee skins cost more: 3,550 VP in most Premium bundles, some 4,350 VP, and 4,950 VP at Ultra edition. Upgrades are paid in Radianite rather than VP: each upgrade level typically costs 10 RP and each variant 15 RP, so fully upgrading one Premium skin takes roughly 40–80 RP. See Radianite Points explained.

What "maxing out" can mean

  • Everyday maxed: a premium skin on the guns you actually buy, plus one knife.
  • Bundle collector: whole bundles, with every gun and the melee from each line you like.
  • Complete collector: the above plus items Riot no longer sells, like past Champions skins, which you can only get with an account that already has them.

Agents are the cheap part: you can unlock them through play with Kingdom Credits, the free currency, so the spend is overwhelmingly cosmetic.

These are store-price calculations, not market data: the dollar range depends on which VP packs you buy, and regional prices differ. Radianite upgrades come on top.

Why knives dominate the bill

A melee costs about twice a gun skin of the same edition: 3,550 VP (about $32–$35) for most Premium knives and 4,950 VP for Ultra. Someone who wants five or six knives has spent more on melees than many players spend on their entire locker. That's also why knives are the clearest sign of a heavily invested account. On our marketplace, listings with five or more knives had a median asking price of about $358, against about $146 with none (25 September 2026). Our ranking of the best Valorant knife skins covers which ones are worth it.

The catch: you can't buy everything

Past Champions bundles aren't sold anymore, Battle Pass weapon skins from old passes don't return, and early rewards like closed-beta player cards were one-time. No amount of VP unlocks them today, so a truly complete collection can only be assembled by buying an account that already has those items. Our guide to the Champions bundles lists every edition.

The cheaper route: buy the locker, not the VP

Building from scratch means paying full store price for every item. A pre-loaded account can be cheaper, because you pay one resale price for a locker someone else built, and it's the only way to get retired items at all. On our marketplace on 25 September 2026, accounts whose skins add up to 15,000–29,999 VP (roughly $136–$300 at store prices) had a median asking price of about $259, and accounts with 30,000–59,999 VP of skins (roughly $270–$600) about $333. These are asking prices, not completed sales, and whether an account beats the store depends on which skins it has, so compare case by case. Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to fully max a Valorant account?

It depends on your definition. Premium skins on the seven most-used guns plus a Premium knife come to 15,975 VP, roughly $145–$160 at US store prices. Collecting ten full Premium bundles is 71,000 VP, roughly $645–$710. A literal 100% collection can't be bought, because retired items aren't sold.

Can you buy every skin in Valorant?

No. Past Champions bundles, old Battle Pass weapon skins and one-time rewards like closed-beta cards aren't available from Riot at any price. The only way to own them is an account that already has them.

What is the most expensive part of maxing out?

Knives and top-edition bundles. A melee costs 3,550 to 4,950 VP on its own, and an Ultra bundle 9,900 VP.

Is it cheaper to buy a maxed account than to max one myself?

Often, especially for large lockers and for retired items you can't buy at all. On our marketplace, accounts with 30,000–59,999 VP of skins had a median asking price of about $333. Compare the specific skins against store prices before deciding.
