Float Value

Float value is a number from 0 to 1 that describes how worn a CS2 skin looks. Lower floats are cleaner (Factory New), higher floats are more scratched (Battle-Scarred), and the value maps to the named wear tiers.

Two skins of the same weapon can differ sharply in price purely on float, since collectors prize low-float, clean examples. Full detail in CS2 float value explained.
