Chilled Mutation

The Chilled mutation is a cold-themed crop effect in Grow a Garden that multiplies a crop's value by about 2x. It is typically applied by a Frost Sprinkler or by certain cold weather events while you are online in your garden.

Chilled is part of the temperature mutation group alongside Wet and Frozen. Its key interaction is with the Wet mutation: when a crop carries both Wet and Chilled, they combine into the much stronger Frozen mutation (about 10x) rather than simply adding together. On its own Chilled is a modest boost, but it is one half of the cheapest route to a high-tier temperature mutation, which is why players deliberately pair it with Wet.
