Gear refers to the tools and equipment you buy to improve your farm rather than to plant. This category includes sprinklers, watering cans, mutation sprays, and other utility items sold in the gear shop, each of which speeds growth, triggers mutations, or otherwise increases output.

Like seeds, gear rotates through the shop, so the most powerful items appear only on certain refreshes and can be hard to obtain when you need them. Good gear compounds your Sheckle income over time, which is why advanced sprinklers and rare sprays are a popular item category to trade alongside seeds, pets, and currency.
