Pet

A pet is a companion creature that gives your farm a passive ability. In the original Grow a Garden, pets hatch from eggs ranging from Common to Legendary, plus special Bug and event eggs, and each pet has a unique trait such as duplicating plants or applying mutations automatically.

Standout examples include the Raccoon, which duplicates a plant roughly every fifteen minutes, and the Dragonfly, which applies the Gold mutation periodically. Rarity is not the same as value, as some easy-to-obtain pets are among the strongest earners. Because the best pets dramatically boost income, they are among the most-traded items on Grow a Garden accounts marketplaces.
