Bruiser / Fighter

A Fighter — almost always called a Bruiser by players — is the champion class that sits between a tank and a damage dealer. Bruisers build a mix of resistances and offense, so they are tough enough to survive a fight while still dealing meaningful, often sustained damage of their own.

This durable-damage profile makes them strong duelists and reliable frontline threats, at home in top lane and the jungle. Riot officially splits Fighters into two subclasses, the slow and immovable Juggernaut and the mobile, dueling Skirmisher, but “bruiser” remains the everyday word for the whole class.
