Anvil

An Anvil is a consumable that sits on your bench and takes up a slot until you use it. Clicking it opens an Armory screen where you choose one reward from several options, typically item components in the early game and full completed items later on.

Anvils come from augments, certain portals, and other game mechanics, and they give you direct control over which items you acquire instead of relying on random drops. Different anvil types offer different reward pools, such as component anvils, completed-item anvils, or specialized ones. Knowing which to crack open, and when, helps you build toward your ideal carry items efficiently.
