Set

A set is a major content era in Teamfight Tactics, each with its own theme, roster of champions, and pool of traits. A new set arrives every few months and effectively resets the game, replacing most units and synergies with fresh ones, often alongside a new gameplay mechanic.

Sets keep TFT feeling new and force everyone to relearn the strongest comps from scratch. Each set also runs its own ranked season, so rank resets align with set launches. Knowing which set is live tells you which strategies and tier lists are current, since advice from an old set no longer applies.
