Duelist

A Duelist is one of Valorant’s four agent roles, designed for aggressive, self-sufficient fragging. Duelists such as Jett, Raze, Reyna, Phoenix, and Neon carry abilities that help them enter contested space, escape, or refresh after a kill, making them the team’s primary entry players.

Their job is to take the first duels and open a site for teammates, which makes them high-risk, high-reward picks that reward strong aim. Because the role is the most mechanically demanding, Duelist mains are heavily represented among high-rank players, so well-placed accounts on Valorant accounts are often built around these agents.
