Full Buy

A full buy is a round in CS2 where a player spends enough money to equip a primary rifle, full armor with a helmet, and a complete set of grenades. This is the strongest economic state a team can be in, since everyone is fully kitted to fight on equal or superior footing. A typical full buy costs roughly $4,000–$5,000 per player.

Teams aim to reach full-buy rounds consistently, because winning rounds while fully equipped is how matches are usually decided. The opposite is an eco round, where players save money and buy little or nothing. Managing the team economy to enable full buys at the right moments is a core strategic skill.
