Hot Drop

A hot drop is choosing to land at one of the map’s busiest named locations, where many players jump in at once for the strong loot. It guarantees early action: you scramble for a weapon and fight straight off the Battle Bus, often before you have any shield.

Hot dropping is high risk, high reward. Survive the opening chaos and you come out fully kitted with kills and loot; misjudge it and you are eliminated within seconds. Aggressive players hot drop to practise their aim and warm up, while those playing for placement land quietly on the edges of the map instead.
