Seller Verification
Seller verification is the process a marketplace uses to confirm that a seller is genuine and reliable before allowing them to list accounts — checking identity, trading history, and delivery track record.
It is the difference between a curated marketplace and an open free-for-all. Verified sellers have something to lose, which strongly discourages the scams and non-deliveries common on unmoderated forums.
Combined with escrow, verification is one of the two pillars of a safe purchase. When choosing where to buy, prefer platforms that vet every seller.
