Seed

A seed is what you plant on your garden plot to grow a crop. You buy seeds from the in-game shop using Sheckles, and the seed shop rotates its stock periodically, so rarer high-value seeds are only available at certain times.

Choosing the right seeds is the core of progression. Cheap starter seeds like Carrot get you going, but upgrading to multi-harvest seeds such as Strawberry pays off far more because the resulting plant produces repeatedly without replanting. Rare and limited-stock seeds are valuable enough that players often trade for them, which is why seeds are one of the main item categories sold for the game.
