ADC / Bot Carry

ADC stands for “Attack Damage Carry,” the ranged marksman who plays the bottom lane beside a support. Also called the bot carry, the role is built around farming minions safely, scaling up with items, and becoming a team’s main sustained damage source in the late game.

ADCs start fragile and depend on positioning and protection, so good play is about staying alive while dealing damage in teamfights. It is a mechanically demanding, popular role to climb on, which is part of why ranked League of Legends accounts are often valued by their main-role rank.
