Dragon Soul is a permanent, game-lasting buff a team earns by killing four elemental dragons. The specific Soul depends on which element appeared most that game — for example, the Infernal Soul adds burst damage while the Mountain Soul grants a protective shield — and every member of the team benefits for the rest of the match.

Securing a Soul is a major power spike that can swing the late game decisively, which is why the race to four dragons shapes mid-game map priority. After a Soul is taken, the Elder Dragon begins to spawn, raising the stakes even higher.
