Item Component

An item component is one of the nine basic items in TFT — such as B.F. Sword, Recurve Bow, Needlessly Large Rod, Tear of the Goddess, Chain Vest, Negatron Cloak, Giant's Belt, Sparring Gloves, and the Spatula. Each gives a small stat on its own and drops from monster rounds and the carousel.

Components are the building blocks of the item system: any two combine into a far stronger completed item. Because you only receive a limited number per game, deciding which components to pick and what to build from them is a major part of every match. The Spatula is special, used to craft trait-granting emblems.
