Slow Roll

Slow rolling is a TFT strategy where you stop leveling at a chosen level — often five or six — and roll only the gold you earn above fifty, preserving the maximum interest. This lets you keep rerolling for cheap upgrades each round while your economy stays intact.

The goal is to reliably three-star key low-cost carries by drawing many shops over time without going broke. It is slower and more patient than a hyper roll, trading early tempo for a powerful upgraded board in the mid-game. Slow rolling is a staple of reroll-focused compositions.
