Synergy

A synergy is the bonus your board gains when enough champions share the same trait. Stacking three, four, or more units of one origin or class crosses a breakpoint that switches on an effect — extra armour, attack speed, healing, or summoned helpers, depending on the trait.

Strong play is about combining several synergies at once so your board is far greater than its individual units. Most TFT compositions are named after their main synergy, and chasing the right breakpoints — without over-committing to units that do little else — is a central decision every round. Synergies reset and change with each new game set.
