Flashbang
The flashbang explodes in a burst of light that blinds and partially deafens anyone looking toward it, with the blindness lasting longer the more directly a player faces the pop. Turning away or breaking line of sight before detonation greatly reduces the effect, so positioning relative to the flash matters as much as the throw itself.
Flashes are usually thrown to support an entry: a teammate pops the flash while another swings in to take the fight against blinded defenders. "Pop-flashing" around corners so enemies cannot react in time is a high-skill technique, and good flash coordination is one of the clearest signs of a well-drilled team.
