Harvesting

Harvesting (also called farming) is using your pickaxe to break down trees, walls, vehicles, and rocks to collect materials. Trees and pallets give wood, brick walls and rocks give stone, and cars and metal structures give metal.

Hitting the small glowing circle that appears on an object speeds up the swing and yields more per hit. Players harvest early in a match to build a stockpile for later fights, balancing the time spent farming against the noise it makes and the risk of being caught out in the open while doing it.
