Reality Augments

Reality Augments are gameplay perks offered to you at intervals during a Battle Royale match. Every so often a pair of randomly drawn augments appears, and you choose one to gain a bonus for the rest of the game — faster reloads, free shield on harvesting, better loot from certain sources, and many more.

You can hold several augments at once and re-roll an offered option for gold bars, so they add a light roguelike layer of decisions to each match. Augments reset every game and are not tied to your account, so they affect how a round plays rather than an account’s lasting value.
