Grinding
Grinding is the act of repeating the same activities for long stretches to earn experience, currency, items, or rank. It is a core part of many games — farming enemies for loot, replaying matches for battle-pass progress, or queuing endlessly to climb the ladder.
Grinding rewards time and persistence rather than pure skill, which is why some content can take dozens or hundreds of hours to fully unlock. That time cost is the main reason a market for accounts exists: instead of grinding from zero, players often buy an established gaming (general) accounts that already has the unlocks and progress they want.
