Flanking
Flanking means approaching a teamfight from an unexpected angle, hitting the enemy from the side or rear rather than the front line they are watching. Flanks are typically launched from fog of war or unwarded brush, letting an assassin or initiator reach the enemy's backline carries before they can react.
A good flank catches opponents out of position and disrupts their formation, often deciding fights before they truly begin. It relies on map control and vision denial, since the enemy seeing the flank coming neutralizes its surprise. Champions with mobility or hard engage are best suited to flanking, and clearing enemy wards beforehand makes a flank far more likely to land.
