Augment (Hextech Augment)

An augment (full name Hextech Augment) is a powerful, game-changing perk offered three times during a TFT match, usually around the start, mid, and later stages. At each augment round you choose one of three options, and they can grant bonus gold, extra units, free items, or trait-boosting effects.

Augments come in three tiers — silver, gold, and prismatic — with prismatic being the strongest. Because they so heavily shape what your board can do, picking augments that fit your comp is one of the most important skills in the game. The right augment can turn a mediocre opening into a winning run.
