Molly / Incendiary

A molly (short for Molotov), also called an incendiary, is an ability that covers an area of ground in damaging fire for several seconds. Brimstone’s Incendiary, Viper’s Snake Bite, and Killjoy’s Nanoswarm are common examples in Valorant.

Mollies are area-denial tools rather than direct kills: they flush enemies out of tight corners and, crucially, stop or delay a Spike defuse by burning anyone standing on the bomb. Throwing a molly onto the planted Spike in the final seconds is a staple post-plant tactic that can win an otherwise lost round.
