Jiggle Peek
A jiggle peek is a rapid in-and-out movement past a corner, exposing yourself for only a moment before snapping back to cover. The goal is not to win a gunfight but to gather information safely: you bait the enemy into firing (revealing their position and weapon, especially an AWP), or you confirm whether an angle is held without committing to it.
Done well, a jiggle peek lets you read the map while staying nearly impossible to hit. It is most effective against snipers, since it draws out a missed shot and forces a slow rechamber. Many players combine it with counter-strafing to be ready to fire if the enemy over-commits.
