Crosshair Placement
Crosshair placement is the habit of keeping your aim positioned where an enemy is most likely to appear, ideally at head height and pre-aimed at the edge of common angles. Done well, it turns a duel into a small adjustment rather than a large, slow flick.
The skill has two parts: holding the crosshair at the correct vertical level so you do not have to drag up to the head, and tracking it along walls and corners as you move so it leads you into peeks. Strong crosshair placement is one of the highest-impact fundamentals in Valorant, often separating ranks more than raw reaction speed does.
