One-Tap
A one-tap is killing an enemy with a single bullet, almost always a headshot from a rifle like the Vandal, Guardian, or Sheriff. The term highlights both the precision and the discipline involved: you fire one accurate round rather than spraying, relying on the weapon's lethal first-shot accuracy.
One-tapping demands a stationary stance and tight crosshair placement, since Valorant rifles are only fully accurate when you stop moving and tap. It is the cleanest possible trade in a duel, trading minimal exposure for an instant kill. Consistently one-tapping is a hallmark of high-rank aim and a frequent highlight in gameplay clips.
