Molotov

The molotov (the Terrorist incendiary; the Counter-Terrorist version is the incendiary grenade) bursts into a patch of fire that deals steady damage to anyone standing in it. Players use it to flush enemies out of tight angles, deny a planted bomb's defuse, slow a push, or burn through chokepoints where opponents like to hide.

Because the fire forces movement and area control, molotovs are a core part of both attacking executes and defensive retakes. A molotov thrown into a smoke also briefly clears that part of the cloud, a small interaction skilled players exploit to open or deny sightlines.
