Is buying a League of Legends account against Riot's Terms of Service?
Yes — Riot's ToS prohibits account trading. In practice, enforcement focuses on sellers and bot networks, not individual buyers. We've never seen a buyer banned solely for purchasing an account. See our full analysis.
How long until I get my account?
Under 5 minutes for in-stock hand-leveled listings. Custom orders (specific champion pool, specific BE) can take up to 24 hours. You'll get an email + in-platform notification the moment credentials are released.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit/debit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX), PayPal, crypto (BTC, ETH, USDT TRC20 and ERC20), and country-specific local methods (iDEAL, Sofort, GCash, Boleto, UPI). We don't accept gift cards or wire transfers — they're fraud vectors.
Are accounts hand-leveled or botted?
Hand-leveled only. We don't accept botted stock from sellers — it has 8× the ban risk. Hand-leveled means a real player completed the level grind through actual gameplay, leaving normal behavioral patterns that don't trigger automated bans.
Can I change the email and password after purchase?
Yes — and you should immediately. Login, go to Riot Account Management, change the password first, then update the email to one you control, then enable 2FA. We send a step-by-step checklist after purchase.
What is "Blue Essence" (BE) and why does it matter?
Blue Essence is the in-game currency used to unlock champions in League of Legends. Accounts with 50K+ BE let you instantly buy the champions you actually want to play, instead of grinding for weeks. High-BE accounts are 30-50% more expensive but save 100+ hours of grind.
What does "smurf account" mean?
A smurf account is a secondary account played at a lower rank than the player's main. Used to play with lower-ranked friends, to learn new champions/roles without affecting your main's MMR, or to stream without revealing your main identity. Our smurf inventory: LoL smurfs, Valorant smurfs.
Can the seller recover the account after I buy it?
Only if you don't change credentials. Once you change password and email and enable 2FA on the new email, recovery becomes nearly impossible — Riot's recovery flow requires email access. If a recovery DOES happen within 14 days, we refund in full and ban the seller permanently. Our recovery incident rate is below 0.3%.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes — 14-day buyer protection on every purchase. Eligible reasons: account recovery, listing mismatch, failed delivery, fraud. See full terms on the buyer protection page.
What's the difference between "Unranked" and "Ranked Ready"?
"Unranked" means the account has never played ranked games — it's a clean slate. "Ranked Ready" means it meets all requirements (Level 30 for LoL, Level 20 + Account 16-victories for Valorant) but hasn't locked in a rank yet. Both are valid starting points; ranked-ready saves you 8-12 hours of normals grind.
Can I sell my own account on BuyAccount?
Yes — apply through Seller Application. We manually review every applicant (about 33% approval rate). Once approved, listing fee is 0% and final-value fee is 8% per sale.
What regions do you support?
For LoL: EUW, EUNE, NA, TR, KR, BR, OCE, RU, JP, LAN, LAS, SG, TH, TW, PH, ME. For Valorant: EU, NA, AP, BR, LA, KR. Region is shown on every listing and cannot be changed after creation.
Do I need to verify my identity to buy?
No — buyers don't need ID. Email verification only. Sellers DO need ID verification (KYC) to comply with EU DSA and US anti-fraud requirements.
What if the rank rolls back after purchase?
Riot's ranked decay can lower the rank on Master/Grandmaster/Challenger tier accounts that go inactive. We disclose decay status on every Master+ listing. Decay-related drops aren't covered by buyer protection, but pre-purchase misrepresentation IS.
Can I use a VPN to log in?
Yes, but use a residential VPN (not a commercial datacenter VPN). Datacenter VPNs trip Riot's anti-fraud system and can flag the account. We recommend logging in from your normal IP for the first 7 days.
Are gift cards available?
Not currently — coming Q3 2026. For now, the gift-card alternative is purchasing an account in the recipient's region and emailing them the credentials.
How does seller pricing work?
Sellers set their own price. Our system suggests a price band based on similar listings, region, and current demand. You're free to ignore the suggestion. We charge 8% on sale; no upfront listing fee.
Are the skin lists on each account verified?
Yes — sellers upload screenshots showing the skin collection, and we cross-check against Riot's API where possible. Listings with mismatched skin counts are flagged before going live.
What happens if Riot bans my account after purchase?
Riot bans for ToS violation (post-purchase scripting, toxic chat, smurfing in violation of policy, etc.) are not our responsibility. Bans within 7 days of purchase where seller fault is evident (botted account masquerading as hand-leveled, for example) qualify for partial refund or credit. We absorb these losses through our seller-deposit system.
Can I buy multiple accounts at once?
Yes — there's no per-buyer cap. Some users buy 5-10 smurfs at a time for content creation or coaching purposes. Volume discount available at 5+ accounts (contact support).
Do you sell Riot Points / Valorant Points?
Coming Q3 2026. We're building a dedicated top-up section. Until then, you'll find Riot Points and Valorant Points on competing marketplaces.
Is the credential delivery process secure?
Credentials are stored in an encrypted vault and never transmitted via email or Discord. Buyer receives a one-time decryption link valid for 24 hours. Sellers cannot recover or screenshot the credentials after delivery — they're destroyed from our system once the buyer confirms receipt.
How do I become a top-tier seller?
Top sellers (featured placement, lower fees) are determined by: on-time delivery rate (>98%), recovery incident rate (<0.1%), positive feedback (>95%), and 50+ completed orders. New sellers start at Bronze tier and progress automatically.
What about Wild Rift accounts?
Wild Rift (mobile LoL) account marketplace is on the 2026 roadmap. Currently we focus on PC titles: League of Legends, Valorant, TFT, Fortnite.
Are there bulk seller programs?
Yes — sellers moving 100+ accounts/month get a dedicated account manager, 6% (instead of 8%) commission, and priority dispute handling. Apply via [email protected].
Can I gift an account to a friend?
Yes — at checkout, you can enter a friend's email to receive the credentials directly. We'll send them the decryption link + setup instructions.
Is my purchase history private?
Yes. Sellers see only the order ID and delivery address (region). Other buyers cannot see who bought what. Your purchase list is visible only to you in My Orders.
What if I receive a banned account?
Open a dispute immediately with screenshot of the ban notice. If the ban occurred before purchase (i.e., the seller sold a banned account), full refund within 24 hours.
Do you have a Discord server?
Yes — discord.gg/buyaccount. We post stock drops, giveaways, and changelog updates. Don't share credentials or account-specific issues on Discord — use support email or tickets for that.
Do you ship to all countries?
There's no physical shipping — accounts are delivered digitally. We accept payments from 180+ countries. Some local payment methods are region-restricted (e.g., iDEAL is NL-only).
