Win Boost is a la carte — order 5, 10, 25 wins (whatever you need) instead of a full rank-to-rank boost. Common use cases: completing battle pass tiers, finishing ranked-win quests, hitting promotion thresholds, achievement grinding.
A division boost (Silver → Gold) is about climbing divisions; a win boost is about a set number of wins.
For quests that ask for a number of ranked wins, a win boost fits better than a division boost that only happens to win those games along the way.
It also fits a split-end rank push, when you are only a win or two away from a tier promotion.
