How Much Is My TFT Account Worth?

A TFT account is worth what its rank, its Tactician collection and the League of Legends content on the same Riot login add up to for a buyer. Master and above is the scarcest thing a TFT account can offer, a collection of time-limited Tacticians adds a premium on top, and a well-stocked LoL side can outweigh both. There are not enough TFT sales on BuyAccount for us to publish reliable price bands, so this guide shows you how to weigh each factor and price against comparable listings instead of a generic number.
What drives TFT account value?
Buyers care about what they get on day one: a rank they can play at, cosmetics they would otherwise have to buy, and an account they can safely take over. In rough order of impact:
- Current TFT rank, especially Master, Grandmaster and Challenger.
- Tacticians: Little Legends, Chibi Champions and Unbound Tacticians, above all the ones that were only offered for a limited time.
- Arenas and Booms, which round out a collection.
- League of Legends content on the same login: champions, skins and LoL rank.
- Server: a buyer needs an account on a region they can play on with good ping.
- Original email and account health: no email access or an active restriction cuts the value sharply, because the buyer can't secure the account.
Ranked tier: the biggest price lever
Rank is the first filter most buyers use. The TFT ladder runs from Iron to Challenger, and each step toward the top holds fewer players, so Master, Grandmaster and Challenger accounts are the rarest listings. Two TFT rules shape what a rank is worth:
- The ladder resets every set. When a new set starts, Riot soft-resets matchmaking rating and everyone plays five placement matches before getting a rank again. A buyer pays for this set's rank, not a permanent one.
- Master and above can decay. Under Riot's current rules, Master+ players can bank up to 14 games; once those run out, every inactive day costs LP. Diamond and below don't decay, but always quote the live rank rather than an old screenshot.
Strong finishes from earlier sets still count as proof of skill. Third-party TFT trackers show past results, and a screenshot of a good history supports your asking price. Remember that TFT rank is completely separate from League of Legends rank, even though both sit on the same account.
Tacticians: the cosmetic wild card
"Tactician" is Riot's name for the avatar that walks around your board. It covers Little Legends (the original creatures), Chibi Champions (miniature League champions) and Unbound Tacticians. How they are sold today matters for value:
- Riot retired Little Legend eggs in March 2025. Little Legends are now bought directly or earned in a set's pass, and you can star them up with duplicates or with Star Shards.
- Mythic and prestige Chibi variants and Unbound Tacticians appear for a limited time in Treasure Realms and the Rotating Shop.
- The Rotating Shop brings some older cosmetics back, so very few Tacticians are guaranteed to stay unavailable.
What buyers pay extra for is a collection they could not easily rebuild: time-limited Chibis and Unbound Tacticians, pass Little Legends from older sets, and three-star upgrades. Standard Little Legends that are in the store today add little, because a buyer can simply buy them. Our explainer on what Little Legends are covers the system in detail.
When you take stock, count the total number of Tacticians, list the time-limited ones by name, and note the star level of each. "40 Tacticians including 5 Chibis, 3 of them at three stars" sells an account far better than "lots of Little Legends".
Arenas, Booms and cosmetic depth
Arenas are the boards your units fight on, and Booms change the effect your units fire at an opponent's Tactician after you win a round. Neither moves the price much on its own, but together they show a buyer how much has been invested in the account. Present them as a package, for example "45 Tacticians, 12 arenas, 3 Booms", rather than a vague "lots of cosmetics".
The shared Riot account bonus
TFT runs on a Riot account, the same login used for League of Legends and Valorant. Everything on that account goes with the sale: LoL champions and skins, LoL rank, any Valorant progress and your TFT collection. If the LoL side is strong, price it in and list both games explicitly. To see what the League of Legends content is worth on its own, run it through the LoL account value calculator or read how much a LoL account is worth.
How the factors stack up
This table is a qualitative guide to how buyers read common profiles. It is not a price list.
| Account profile | What buyers look at | Effect on value |
|---|---|---|
| Iron to Gold, few cosmetics | Mostly the LoL side and any collection | Low: a buyer can reach this rank on their own |
| Platinum to Diamond with a solid collection | Collection depth and LoL content | Moderate |
| Master, Grandmaster or Challenger this set | Current rank and LP, banked games before decay | High: the scarcest profile |
| Any rank with time-limited Chibis or Unbound Tacticians | Which Tacticians, and their star levels | Adds a premium on top of rank |
| Any rank with a large LoL collection | LoL skins, champions and rank | Can outweigh the TFT side |
How to price your account
- Write down the exact inventory: current rank and LP, Tacticians (time-limited ones by name, with star levels), arenas and Booms, LoL champion and skin count, LoL rank, server, and whether you still control the original email.
- Compare like with like. Look for listings with a similar rank, server and collection. TFT listings are thin, so compare the League of Legends side against LoL listings as well.
- Charge a premium only for what a buyer can verify: named Tacticians, three-star upgrades, a current apex rank or a strong LoL collection.
- Collect proof: screenshots of the TFT collection, the ranked profile and the LoL collection, taken just before you list.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does rank or cosmetics matter more for TFT account value?
Rank matters most at Master and above, because it is the hardest thing to replicate and it is scarce. Below that, cosmetics and the League of Legends side often carry the account, since a buyer could climb to Gold or Platinum on their own. Between two accounts of the same rank, the collection decides which is worth more.
Do Little Legends still add value now that eggs are gone?
Some do. Little Legends you can buy in the store today add little. Time-limited Tacticians, such as Chibi variants and Unbound Tacticians from Treasure Realms, pass Little Legends from older sets and three-star upgrades, add more. Because the Rotating Shop brings some older items back, check whether a Tactician is on sale right now before paying a premium for it.
Does League of Legends content count toward a TFT account's value?
Yes, directly. TFT and LoL share one Riot login, so the buyer gets the TFT rank and collection, the LoL champions, skins and rank, and any Valorant progress. List both games clearly and price the bundle above the TFT-only baseline if the LoL side is strong.
Why doesn't this guide list TFT prices?
Because we don't have enough TFT sales on BuyAccount to measure them, and invented price bands would mislead you. Compare live listings with the same rank, server and collection, and value the LoL side separately with the calculator.
