QUICK ANSWER

Before you pay for a Clash Royale account, check three things: who controls the login (Supercell ID email included, no phone number linked), how strong the collection really is (King Tower level, card levels, evolutions, heroes and champions, not just trophies) and how you pay (escrow with a dispute window). Note that since May 2026 Clash Royale no longer has a King Level: the account-level numbers that matter are the King Tower level and the collection level.

Most disappointing Clash Royale purchases fail on one of two points: the buyer never got full control of the login, or the cards were far weaker than the trophy count suggested. This checklist goes through what to look at, in the order that matters.

1. Control of the account

CheckWhy it matters
The account is saved to a Supercell IDSupercell ID logs in with a code sent to its email, with no password
You receive the email the Supercell ID is linked toWithout that inbox you can't receive login codes or move the Supercell ID to your own email
No phone number is linkedAccount Protection (SMS and recovery codes) cannot be disabled through settings or support
Not obtained by phishing or brute forceStolen accounts are the ones most likely to be reclaimed

2. The collection: look past the trophies

  • King Tower level (1 to 16). Since the May 2026 update it rises as cards are upgraded and never goes down. It sets your Crown Towers' strength and caps your Tower Troop levels.
  • Card levels. The maximum card level is 16 (added in November 2025). The more cards at 15 and 16, the stronger the account.
  • Collection level. It adds up the levels of all your cards, plus bonuses for each evolution or hero unlocked, so it sums up the whole collection in one number.
  • Evolutions and heroes. Evolutions are alternate card forms unlocked with Evolution Shards; heroes are a newer special form. Both take time to collect.
  • Champions. The first comes from the Trophy Road at Arena 16; champions start at level 11 and go up to 16.
  • Trophies and arena. The Trophy Road runs through 32 arenas to 14,000 trophies; Ranked unlocks at 13,000 trophies.

3. Extras that come with the account

  • Pass Royale. An active pass expires at the end of its season, about a month.
  • Other Supercell games. Brawl Stars or Clash of Clans progress on the same Supercell ID comes with it.

4. Paying and delivery

  • Pay through escrow, so the seller is only paid after you have checked the account.
  • Check the cards in the game against the listing before you confirm delivery.
  • Change the Supercell ID email to your own on day one.

On BuyAccount payment is held until you confirm the account, and the 14-day buyer protection covers a mismatch, failed delivery or an account that stops working through the seller's fault. How it works shows each step.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happened to the King Level?

Clash Royale removed experience and the King Level on 26 May 2026. Account progress now shows as the King Tower level and the collection level; sellers who still quote a "level 58" are showing the old, frozen number.

Are more trophies always better?

Not on their own. Compare card levels, evolutions and the collection level: they show how strong the account really is.

What if the cards don't match the listing?

Don't confirm delivery. Open a dispute within the buyer-protection window instead.
