Is It Safe to Buy a Clash Royale Account?

QUICK ANSWER

Buying a Clash Royale account is never risk-free: Supercell's Terms of Service forbid buying and selling accounts, and its help centre says a bought account is never yours and gets no support. The real-world risk is the previous owner taking the account back, not a random ban of a quiet buyer. You cut that risk sharply when the account has no phone number on its Supercell ID, you receive the email it is linked to, and you move the Supercell ID to your own email on day one, with payment held in escrow until you have checked it.

Clash Royale has no official way to transfer an account, so every sale works by handing over the Supercell ID login. This guide sets out what Supercell's rules say, which risks are real, and the checks that make a purchase reasonably safe.

What Supercell's rules say

Supercell's Terms of Service state that you may not "purchase, sell, rent or give away your Account", and that you may not sell or transfer virtual items. Its Clash Royale help centre has an article titled "A Bought Account Is Never Yours": buying or selling accounts is against the Terms of Service, Supercell gives no support for bought accounts, and such an account may be permanently closed.

For a buyer the practical point is simple: if something goes wrong after the sale, Supercell support will not take your side, so your protection has to come from the account itself and from where you buy it. See also whether selling game accounts is legal.

Why the phone number matters most

With Account Protection on, logging in can require an SMS code or a recovery code, and those codes prove ownership to support. Supercell says it cannot be turned off, only reset. On a bought account that means the seller can keep the recovery codes. Every Clash Royale account on BuyAccount has no phone number on its Supercell ID, and the listing says so.

Day-one checklist after you receive the account

  1. Log in to the email the Supercell ID is linked to and confirm you can read new messages.
  2. Sign in to Supercell ID in Clash Royale with the code sent to that email (Supercell ID has no password).
  3. Change the Supercell ID email to your own in the Supercell ID settings; Supercell sends a code to the current email to confirm it.
  4. Check the cards: King Tower level, card levels, evolutions and champions against the listing.
  5. Turn on Account Protection with your own phone number if you want the extra layer, knowing it is permanent once enabled.

What makes a Clash Royale listing trustworthy

Screenshots are easy to reuse. Each Clash Royale listing on BuyAccount shows the account's trophies, King Tower level, collection level, arena, evolved cards and champions, and every card with its level, evolution and star level read from the official Clash Royale data when the listing was published. We leave out accounts under 5,000 trophies and accounts our supplier marks as obtained by phishing or brute force.

Payment is held in escrow until you confirm the account, and every order is covered by 14-day buyer protection against a mismatch, failed delivery or an account that stops working through the seller's fault. See our buyer protection page, how it works and how to pay safely.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Supercell close a bought Clash Royale account?

Its help centre says a bought account may be permanently closed, and its terms let it suspend or terminate accounts that break them. Taking over the login completely lowers the practical risks, but nobody can promise an account bought against the rules is risk-free.

Can the seller take the account back?

They can try. Support restores an account to the person who can prove ownership, for example with purchase transaction IDs or Account Protection codes. Getting the linked email, changing the Supercell ID email immediately and buying with buyer protection is your protection.

Do I get Brawl Stars or Clash of Clans progress too?

If the same Supercell ID has progress in other Supercell games, it comes with it. Our listings name those games and their main numbers.
