How to Transfer a Brawl Stars Account with Supercell ID

How Supercell ID works

• No password. You log in with a verification code Supercell sends to the Supercell ID's email.
• One way in. Once an account is connected to Supercell ID, no one can log in to it any other way.
• One email, one Supercell ID. The email you move it to must not already be linked to another Supercell ID.
• New-device alerts. Supercell emails you when someone logs into the Supercell ID on a new device.

Step by step: move the account to your email

1. Open the delivered email inbox and check that you can receive new messages.
2. In Brawl Stars, open Settings and tap Supercell ID, then log in with that email address and the code that arrives.
3. Choose Change Email in the Supercell ID settings.
4. Confirm you can still open the current inbox and enter the code Supercell sends there.
5. Enter your own email, enter the code sent to it and follow the prompts.
6. Check the brawlers against the listing, then confirm the order.

Supercell's help centre says there is no limit on how many times you can change the email, that it may disable email changes on accounts it considers unsecured, and that without access to the current inbox you have to contact support.

Lock the account to you

• Log out other devices. If you get a new-device email you don't recognise, choose "This is not my device" to log out of all devices.
• Consider Account Protection. It adds SMS codes and recovery codes with your own phone number. Supercell says it cannot be disabled through settings or support, only reset to change the number. That is also why you should never buy an account that already has someone else's phone on it.
• Keep your records. Support asks for details such as the player tag, account name, club and purchase transaction IDs when someone tries to recover an account without Account Protection.

Common problems

What Supercell says about bought accounts
