The Most Valuable Brawlers and Skins in Brawl Stars

QUICK ANSWER
What makes a Brawl Stars account valuable is how many brawlers it has, how upgraded they are and which ones are rare, plus skins that can no longer be obtained. Ultra and Legendary brawlers cost the most credits to unlock, power 11 brawlers with hypercharges represent the most progress, and expired Brawl Pass or limited licensed skins can't be bought again.
Two Brawl Stars accounts with the same trophies can differ a lot in value. This guide explains which brawlers, upgrades and skins add the most, using Supercell's own rarity costs and skin rules.
Brawler rarities and what they cost to unlock
Supercell's August 2026 release notes list the credit cost of each rarity, which is a good guide to how hard each brawler is to get:
| Rarity | Credits to unlock |
|---|---|
| Rare | 160 |
| Super Rare | 430 |
| Epic | 925 |
| Mythic | 1,900 |
| Legendary | 3,800 |
| Ultra | 5,500 |
The Ultra rarity (first introduced as Ultra Legendary with Kaze in April 2025) is the rarest. About 108 brawlers existed as of the August 2026 update, so an account with most of them, including the Legendary and Ultra ones, saves a lot of time and credits.
Upgrades that add the most
- Power 11 brawlers. Levelling one brawler from 1 to 11 takes thousands of power points and coins.
- Hypercharges. They unlock at power 11 and are the strongest upgrade a brawler can have.
- Gadgets, star powers and gears. Up to two of each per brawler; together they decide how a brawler plays.
- Prestige. Brawlers past 1,000 trophies can Prestige, and that progress is permanent.
Skins: which ones hold value
Skins are cosmetic, but some are scarce:
- Expired Brawl Pass skins. Brawl Pass skins from before February 2022 are no longer available.
- Licensed skins. Most are seasonal and have an expiry date.
- Recent pass skins. Skins from the January to August 2026 passes are now available only through Skin Keys.
- Shop skins range from 29 gems (Rare) to 299 gems (Legendary) and 499 gems (Hypercharge skins).
On BuyAccount listings, every equipped skin is shown per brawler. Equipped skins are owned by the account; it may own more.
What doesn't add lasting value
- An active Brawl Pass. Its extras are removed when the season ends, about a month.
- Current-season Ranked rank. Ranks are reduced when a new season starts; the best rank ever is the more telling number.

The brawler table on each listing marks every brawler's rarity with a coloured dot, next to its power level and upgrades.
