Black Knight Fortnite Accounts: Value and Buyer's Guide

The Black Knight is one of the few famous OG Fortnite skins that is still genuinely exclusive: it was the final reward of the game's first paid Battle Pass, in Chapter 1 Season 2, and Epic's policy keeps Battle Pass rewards from that era out of the Item Shop. That shows in prices. In our 25 September 2026 snapshot, the 41 active listings that include the Black Knight had a median asking price of about $188, several times what accounts of the same locker size usually ask.
What is the Black Knight skin?
The Black Knight is a Legendary outfit from the Fort Knights set. It was the tier 70 reward, the last tier, of the Chapter 1 Season 2 Battle Pass, which ran from December 2017 to February 2018 and was the first paid pass Fortnite sold. The same pass included the Royale Knight and Blue Squire outfits, which complete the classic knight loadout, and Sparkle Specialist at tier 56. The only way to get the Black Knight was to buy that pass and reach its final tier.
Why the Black Knight holds its value
- It can't return under Epic's current policy. Epic now lets items from passes released after 7 August 2024 come back to the shop 18 months after they leave a pass, but rewards from Chapter 1 Season 2 through Chapter 5 Season 3 stay exclusive. Shop skins are different: the Renegade Raider returned in December 2024.
- Every copy is an original. Because it never came back, a Black Knight in a locker always means the account finished the Season 2 pass. No style check is needed, unlike the Renegade Raider or Skull Trooper.
- It is scarce in practice. It appeared on 41 of the 7,999 active Fortnite listings in our snapshot.
- It usually travels with other early cosmetics, such as the rest of the Fort Knights set and other Season 2 items.

What is a Black Knight account worth?
Market data from 25 September 2026 (05:04 UTC). Asking prices of active BuyAccount listings, not completed sales; no listings removed as outliers; whole accounts, not the value of the skin itself.
| Accounts | Listings | Median asking price | Middle 50% of listings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Include the Black Knight (typical locker: 86 skins) | 41 | ~$188 | ~$156–$288 |
| Any account with 50–99 skins (for comparison) | 590 | ~$29 | ~$18–$57 |
| Any account with 100–199 skins (for comparison) | 530 | ~$47 | ~$27–$94 |
With a typical locker of 86 skins, these accounts ask far more than their size alone would suggest, which makes the Black Knight one of the clearest price drivers in our data. Where a specific account lands depends on the rest of it:
- Other early exclusives: Sparkle Specialist from the same pass, promo skins such as Galaxy or IKONIK, or verified original styles of the Skull Trooper, Ghoul Trooper or Renegade Raider.
- Account age: a creation date in 2017 or early 2018 fits the skin and reassures buyers.
- Locker size and emotes: a larger collection and early emotes such as Floss add to the total.
- Account health: full email access, no bans and a clean linking history are essential.

How to buy a Black Knight account safely
- See the skin on a live video of the locker, not a screenshot that could come from another listing.
- Insist on full email access so you can secure the account under your own email immediately.
- Use a marketplace with escrow and published buyer protection, never a direct deal: a Battle Pass skin can't be bought again if you lose the account to a scam.
- Change the email and password and enable 2FA the moment you take ownership.

How much is a Black Knight account worth?
