QUICK ANSWER

A rushed village has a Town Hall upgraded far ahead of its heroes, troops and defenses; a maxed one has everything upgraded for its Town Hall. Rushed accounts are cheaper but play weaker than their Town Hall suggests, because Clan War matchmaking pairs similar Town Hall levels. Compare each hero's level with its maximum: at Town Hall 18 the six home heroes add up to 480 levels when fully upgraded.

"Rushed" is the most common reason a Clash of Clans account feels like a bad buy. The Town Hall looks impressive, but the heroes and troops lag far behind. This guide explains what rushed and maxed mean, how to spot each from a listing, and when a rushed account still makes sense.

What "rushed" and "maxed" mean

Both are player terms, not official Supercell ones. A village is called rushed when the Town Hall was upgraded before the heroes, troops, spells and defenses of the previous levels were finished. It is maxed when everything has reached the highest level its Town Hall allows. Most accounts sit somewhere in between.

Why it matters

Supercell's Clan War matchmaking compares clans by their members' attacking power and defensive power, counts heroes towards both, and tries to match clans with similar Town Hall levels. A rushed village therefore meets opponents with the same Town Hall but stronger heroes and troops, and its attacks are harder. Hero equipment has counted in war matchmaking since 2024 as well.

How to spot a rushed account from the numbers

Hero levels are the clearest sign, because heroes take the longest to upgrade. Here are the heroes and their maximum levels at Town Hall 18:

HeroUnlocks atMax level (Town Hall 18)
Barbarian KingTown Hall 4110
Archer QueenTown Hall 8110
Minion PrinceTown Hall 995
Grand WardenTown Hall 1185
Royal ChampionTown Hall 1355
Dragon DukeTown Hall 1525

Hero caps rise with the Hero Hall, so lower Town Halls have lower maximums. As a rule of thumb, a Town Hall 16 to 18 account whose heroes add up to only a few dozen levels is heavily rushed, while one in the hundreds has had real work put in. Then look at hero equipment, troop and spell levels in the same way.

When a rushed account still makes sense

  • You enjoy the upgrade process and want access to higher-level buildings and loot storage straight away.
  • You mostly play casually or in the Builder Base.
  • The price reflects it: compare with well-upgraded accounts at a lower Town Hall, which our snapshot in how much a Clash of Clans account is worth shows can cost the same or more.

How BuyAccount handles rushed accounts

Every Clash of Clans listing shows each hero's level next to its maximum, plus equipment, pets, troops, spells and siege machines, read from the official Clash of Clans data. We also leave out heavily rushed villages: an account's hero levels must reach a minimum that rises with its Town Hall. Frequently Asked Questions

Is "rushed" an official Clash of Clans term?

No. It is a community term. Supercell describes war matchmaking in terms of attacking and defensive power and Town Hall levels.

Do trophies show whether an account is rushed?

No. Supercell says trophies do not factor into Clan War matchmaking, and they change daily. Hero and troop levels tell you far more.

Can a rushed account be fixed?

Yes, by upgrading heroes, equipment and troops before the next Town Hall. It takes time and resources, which is what the lower price pays for.
