How Much Is a Clash of Clans Account Worth?

QUICK ANSWER
A Clash of Clans account is worth what its hero, equipment and troop levels are worth, more than its Town Hall number. On BuyAccount on 7 October 2026 the median asking price was $9.86 across 279 accounts, from under $2 for a typical Town Hall 9 to around $43 for a Town Hall 17, and rushed high Town Halls were often cheaper than well-upgraded mid-level ones. The table below shows the full snapshot.
"What is my account worth?" has no single answer, because two accounts at the same Town Hall can be months of upgrades apart. The fairest way to price one is to compare it with real listings at the same Town Hall and hero levels. Here is a snapshot of our own Clash of Clans listings and what moves a price up or down.
Snapshot: asking prices by Town Hall (7 October 2026)
Median asking price of the active Clash of Clans listings on BuyAccount, with the median sum of the account's home-village hero levels for comparison. Prices change every day as accounts sell and new ones arrive; the live page always has today's numbers.
| Town Hall | Listings | Median price | Median hero levels (sum) |
|---|---|---|---|
| TH9 | 79 | $1.40 | 37 |
| TH10 | 15 | $10.06 | 60 |
| TH11 | 16 | $11.72 | 86 |
| TH12 | 24 | $9.38 | 83 |
| TH13 | 19 | $23.70 | 136 |
| TH14 | 7 | $26.32 | 150 |
| TH15 | 35 | $23.46 | 190 |
| TH16 | 54 | $2.48 | 107 |
| TH17 | 9 | $43.02 | 267 |
| TH18 | 21 | $9.86 | 114 |
Two things stand out. Prices climb with the Town Hall only as long as the heroes climb with it: the Town Hall 17 accounts, with a median hero sum of 267, were the most expensive group. And many Town Hall 16 and 18 accounts on offer were rushed, with hero sums far below what those Town Halls allow, which is why their medians sit below Town Hall 13 to 15.
What makes an account worth more
- Hero levels. Heroes take the longest to upgrade and count towards Clan War matchmaking. Each hero's level against its maximum is the clearest value signal. At Town Hall 18 the Barbarian King and Archer Queen go up to level 110.
- Hero equipment. Introduced with Town Hall 16, equipment is upgraded with ores and adds a lot of strength; it also counts in war matchmaking.
- Troop, spell and siege machine levels. They decide how hard your attacks hit, so a high Town Hall with low troop levels is cheaper for a reason.
- Pets. The Pet House opens at Town Hall 14; levelled pets add value on higher villages.
- Builder Base. A Builder Hall 10 with levelled Battle Machine and Battle Copter is a second village you get on top.
- Other games on the Supercell ID. Brawl Stars or Clash Royale progress on the same Supercell ID comes with the account.
What adds little lasting value
- An active Gold Pass. It lasts only until the end of the season (one calendar month) and does not carry over.
- Trophies. Supercell's Clan War matchmaking article says trophies do not factor in, and they move every day.
- Experience level on its own. It rises with play and mostly unlocks decorations.
What can make an account worth nothing
A low price is no bargain if the account can be taken back. A phone number on the Supercell ID (Account Protection cannot be disabled), a seller who keeps the linked email, or an account obtained by phishing all leave the previous owner in control. How to price your own account fairly
- Note your Town Hall and each hero's level.
- Find listings at the same Town Hall with similar hero sums on the Clash of Clans page (filter by Town Hall, sort by price).
- Adjust for equipment, pets, the Builder Base and other Supercell games on the same ID.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a Town Hall 16 sometimes cheaper than a Town Hall 13?
Because many Town Hall 16 accounts on offer are rushed: the Town Hall went up while the heroes stayed low. In our 7 October 2026 snapshot, Town Hall 13 to 15 accounts had higher median hero sums relative to their Town Hall than most Town Hall 16 ones.
Does spending money on an account raise its value?
Only through what the money bought that stays on the account, such as upgrades and cosmetics. Supercell's terms let it close accounts that break its rules, and money spent on such an account is at risk too.
Are these prices final?
No. They are asking prices on one day. The live listings show today's prices and the full levels of each account.
